Most lower-division mathematics course use Mathcad since it is a graphing and computational tool that is easy to use and inexpensive for students. It is available in the campus bookstore at an academic price. The Center for Academic Assistance offers free workshops for students learning how to use Mathcad. Click Here for more information.

Junior and senior level courses use subject appropriate software selected by the instructor. For example, students in Math 4320 - Numerical Analysis use MATLAB. Some courses use Maple or other specialized software.
