Teacher Education
The Mathematics Department at Clayton State University is dedicated to training future K-12 mathematics teachers in conjunction with the Office of Teacher Education in the School of Arts and Sciences.
The Office of Teacher Education offers a Bachelor of Arts in Middle Level Education designed to lead to certification for teaching two concentrations from four areas including mathematics, science, social studies, and language arts in grades 4 - 8. Faculty members from the Department of Mathematics teach the mathematics content courses.
