IT Game Lab

Come enjoy time between classes, meet new friends, and play Smash Brothers or Guitar Hero 2!

The CSU IT Department has a lab devoted to game exploration/play, study, and community building.  The lab is open all day Monday-Friday.  Wired and wireless network access is available, and the lab consists of:

• Game consoles with wired and wireless controllers including
  • Microsoft XBox
  • Microsoft XBox 360
  • Playstation
  • Playstation 2
  • Nintendo DS
  • Nintendo Gameboy Advanced
  • Nintendo Gamecube
  • Sega Dreamcast
  • Nintendo N64
• Over 100 PC and console game titles
• The Information Technology library (consisting of over 200 books and reference texts in computing)
• Four 32" TVs
• One 42" wall-mounted Plasma TV
• Multimedia Dell PC with 24" LCD flat panel display (Windows XP Professional with SP2)
• A microwave and refrigerator for student use
• An honor-system snack service so students can avoid the vending machine prices

During a hurricane watch in 2004, students "weathered out" the storm in the game lab.

The UC324 game lab is also used as a study space when the gaming consoles are not in use.
