Minimum configuration for IT/CS majors
Students who are enrolled in various IT/CS courses will need computing power beyond the minimum listed on the ITP Choice website. We recommend that IT or CS majors choose the advanced level. In addition, we recommend:

3 (or more) GB of RAM

160 GB (or greater) hard drive
While we're aware that there is a recent push for netbooks, we do not recommend them as a sole computing resource because of limitations in computing capacity (disk space, RAM, screen space, etc...) However, as a secondary machine, they are sufficient.
