Teaching

It is my objective to show students the beauty and depth of mathematics while keeping the explanations clear and engaging. One of my main tenets is to involve the students in my lecture to make an atmosphere of active learning and participation.

 Introductory Statistics Power Point Presentation:

Research

My research interests have always been connected to problems of a combinatorial nature. Although I am intrigued by many different fields of mathematics including Analysis and Geometry, the problems that always engaged me were those in which the basic difficulty lay in some unresolved combinatorial question.

Personal Interest

My interests include reading, writing, working out, chess, and salsa dancing.
Some of my favorite books: One Hundred Years of Solitude, The God of Small Things, Atonement, No Country for Old Men, The Corrections...
