COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course provides a study of algebraic, trigonometric, logarithmic,
and exponential functions including limits, continuity, the derivative, and differentiation, the
definite integral, and applications.
COMMON LEARNING OUTCOMES: After successful completion of the course the student will be able to:
1. Solve problems that can be modeled by differential calculus.
2. Generate and interpret graphs of functions, their derivatives, and their integrals.
3. Apply theoretical concepts of differential calculus to answer questions and explain the reasoning used in constructing the answer.
4. Apply the required course software to graph and analyze functions and their derivatives.
5. Use correct terminology and definitions for differential calculus concepts.
