Currently, the success rate for Math 1231 online is about 60%. Success rate is the proportion of students who make an A, B, or C in the class. I want students to succeed in Math 1231. But the Online Math 1231 is NOT a good fit for everyone (regardless of how it helps with your work schedule, etc). If I do not think you have a strong potential to succeed, I will not approve you for the online course.
To register for Math 1231 Online, you must complete the following form. The information will automatically be emailed to the instructor. I will forward the list of approved students approximately 1-2 times a week to the Math Program Coordinator. Approval does NOT guarantee success in the course! The approval process may indicate factors that suggest you are not likely to succeed in the course. If so, you will be denied approval. If you are approved, that does NOT mean that you will receive an A, B, or C.

If you cannot attend the scheduled exam times, you must contact the instructor well in advance to make alternate arrangements for proctored exams.
